Consecutive Interpreting

In consecutive interpreting, the interpreter translates speech in parts as the speaker pauses for translation. Consecutive interpreting is used for negotiations, public speaking, presentations, and round tables. However, at large events it is preferable to employ simultaneous interpreting in order to save time.
